I am so happy for you that you can make that statement. I know it was hard to leave the beautiful home you had created in the Northwest.
I love that stone flag, though I have never stopped to look over the little park area. I saw all those flags yesterday and thought they were a wonderful tribute.
Way back when….I don’t remember how long ago it was now, but I scheduled a post for Veteran’s Day on FB, but I totally forgot about it until I saw it had posted….I never did share it….my bad. I’m glad you were on top of things, though 😉 I love our Vets. I am so very grateful to every single one of them, including my maternal Grandfather (Navy), my Father (Marines), my Uncle (Army), and one of my Grandsons…(Marines), and numerous friends. They are so deserving of our thanks. Gorgeous pictures Patti.
