My dad loved Christmas more than anyone I know. I believe it was because he didn’t learn to cherish the true meaning of the holiday until late in life. After a tough upbringing, fighting his way up the ladder of success, a fierce battle with asbestos related cancer, the loss of many friends who battled the same disease . . . and lost, the prayer of a visiting preacher and his subsequent healing, he finally came to a place of fully committing his life to Jesus . . .
I’m guest posting over at Faith ‘n Friends today where I’m sharing, Renewing the Wonder of Christmas. To read the full article please click on the link HERE. I’d also love for you to leave a comment while you’re there telling me your thoughts on the subject.
Many blessings to you as we enter this Season of Great Wonder,

Patti,
Deeply touched by your tribute to your Dad and your heavenly Father in this touching post, dear friend!!!
Many times, in our “Tours of Duty”, I know “Mr. Ed” and I often spoke of Mary and Joseph
and their determination to follow God’s calling for their lives.
Thank you for this lovely post!!!
I know that 2016 will hold many “reveals” for both your life and mine!!!
Fondly,
Pat
