What do you like most about Spring decorating? I like that it means the cold weather is behind us (fingers crossed) but I also love all the lovely muted colors of Spring. This is really the only time of year that I use peaches and pinks in my home decor, but I think I may need to use these colors more . . . without hubby noticing of course. 😉
My home has some other added color as I recently repainted every room on the main floor. I can’t wait to share it with you.
Now, I have a LOT of pictures to share with you so I’ll be quiet and let you wander through my home.
On to the den, located directly behind the living room.
That’s it for my Spring decor. It’s been up since early March as I’m generally pretty anxious to leave the winter behind. What about you? What’s your favorite Season?
Time now, to work on cleaning up the screened porch. The days are warm and porch settin’ is our favorite thing to do! Sweet tea anyone?
Happy Spring sweet friends and God bless,
Patti

Your home is absolutely gorgeous! I am drooling over the crown on your buffet and always drool over the cherub painting above it, would love to find one of each. Thanks for sharing!
Blessings,
Candy
Patti says
Thank you sweet friend. I found the crown at a local vintage shop, and the painting, well, it is an original oil painting that I purchased from Sherry at No Minimalist Here. What a find, right? 🙂
Barb says
Beautiful! I love the seasonal decor and changing things up, but o never like to don the work. For me, it means climbing those attics stairs a few times, and I just always put it off.. leaving things as they are. But your home is so lovely! And I love the colors and themes.
Patti says
It is kind of a pain to climb those attic stairs isn’t it? I’m always anxious to change out the decor with the Seasons though so I guess the motivation overcomes 🙂 Thanks friend.
Rose says
Just Beautiful ~
Patti says
Thank you Much Love Rose;) Happy Easter.
Stacey says
Just couldn’t be any prettier!!
Have you shared your paint colors in the past?
Patti says
Thank you for the compliment sweet Stacey! I have NOT shared my paint colors in the past because I haven’t painted the upstairs yet. I probably should though because I don’t know when I’ll never get to painting again with the planting season in full swing.

Sandra @ Maison De Jardin says
Oh my goodness – I thoroughly enjoyed myself at your home. There are so many lovely things, I don’t know where to begin my comments. So, I will tell you my favorites. I am in love with the boxwood wreath, burlap bow on the fabulous mirror, love the apricot tulips in the beautiful urn, crazy for the bunny and flowers under the cloche, the hydrangeas in the silver champagne bucket are gorgeous, and I must not forget the bunny holding the dish of eggs. Wow – all so pretty and such an inspirational spring post.
Thank you for showing me around, now I must get busy — oh but it is snowing here this afternoon.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Sandra
Patti says
Thank you so much for all of the wonderful compliment Sandra. I hope your snow has cleared and Spring is breaking forth for you now!
Cindy says
Stunning doesn’t seem to suffice with your home. You have such a touch and beautiful accessories. I’m waiting for a crown similar to yours to come back in stock at Wayfair.
Cindy
Patti says
Thank you sweet Cindy. I ran across that crown at a local vintage shop a couple of weeks ago and I was hooked!

Patti: Your home is gorgeous! You have so many cute Spring items! I love florals, crystals, muted colors, etc., so your house speaks to me! I know what you mean about using pink/peach in decor with regard to the husbands! It’s tricky to do, for sure. LOL!
Patti says
Haha! Thank you Joanie. I hope you have a wonderful Easter.

You have a very beautiful home. I can tell you’ve put lots of work into the details. Thanks for sharing it with us. Spring and summer are my favorite seasons. I’m looking forward to working in the yard and getting some flowers planted next week.
Patti says
Thank you Lisa! I’m looking forward to working in the yard as well. Being fairly new to SC it has been difficult. I planted several things last year that didn’t make it through the winter. This red clay is a mystery to me. Have a Happy Easter.
Lisa notes says
I know all about red clay, unfortunately. ha. Always having to mix in good soil with the clay.
Michele Morin says
Every little detail — I love them all! Especially the Rabbit Hill book and the boots by the door.

Ah, thank you Michele. Why is it no surprise you would love a book the best? Happy Easter my friend.

You know what I love about your home? The fact that I’ve been there and the Spirit of God abides there and His Spirit brings peace and hope and love. I want to come back for a cuppa. On your porch. In one of your pretty tea cups. (((xo)))

Ah, thank you sweet friend. You are welcome to come for a cuppa any ol’ time! Please do.

Tammi says
You have such a beautiful home! I especially love all of the beautiful flowers and greenery you incorporated into the spring decor. I’m not sure that big chocolate bunny would last long in my house though! Thank you for letting us in for a peek.
Patti says
Thank you for the sweet compliment on my home Tammi. Thankfully that big bunny is some kind of molded plastic material! Happy Easter.

Patti, your home is beautiful in every season! Thank you for showing us your lovely spring decor. And thanks for joining the Grace at Home party–I’m featuring you this week!
By the way, how is it that you live just a few hours from me now and I’ve still never met you in person?! We must change that!
Patti says
We MUST change that indeed Richella! I would love to spend time sharing life together. I do occasionally travel up to NC but my home is always open here in the Greenville area. Let’s make a plan.
Gail Landgraf says
Thanks for sharing so much beauty with us! I love every single photo! I am into seasonal decorating at my house too and I write about it in a little column called The House Doctor. I am currently revamping my blog though; so those post columns are not showing up as often as some of the other categories. Your posts have inspired me today and given me that little shove I needed to get started back in that direction. Summer is coming! I hope you do some beach styles too. That has always been one of my favorites. It was nice to enjoy someone else’s seasonal flair. You have a very unique and beautiful style!
Patti says
Thank you SO much Gail. I am having a lot of fun at this stage in life where I actually have more time to decorate for the seasons without it being a chore. I’m looking forward to going over to visit your blog to see your decorating style. Summer is indeed coming and you will see a few beach related decor items in my home, especially on the screened porch. Blessings friend.
